THANKFUL DAY!

The day before we got out for Thanksgiving Break, we had a day of celebrating being thankful to the Lord for all of the wonderful ways He has blessed us.  Some of our festivities included reading "The Pumpkin Parable" and carving a pumpkin as we read it, creating a tree of what we're thankful for, eating pumpkin foods, reading Thanksgiving literature, and much more!

Benji carving the pumpkin with Mr. McCullough as Mrs. McCullough reads The Pumpkin Parable- a precious book that tells the Good News through the illustration of the carving of a pumpkin.  We carved a cross into the front and put a candle inside.  So, just like Christ's love shines out of us, the candlelight shined from the pumpkin.

Mmm!  Cider!
